At a high speed, it makes a rumbling under my car. It doesn't do anything to performance, it's just annoying as shit to feel the rattle when it's just below a shift point.
I want to see if it's the shift linkage bushing, but I'm not quite sure how to disect it..
Any vets wanna help a newbie?

Could you get under there with a camera and post some pictures? Some close up shots of the shift linkage would be nice to include in what you post.

There's a "rubber" hanger at the bottom of the firewall that the exhaust pipe is normally connected to, pretty much straight down, beneath the intake manifold. That alone should be enough to keep the exhaust pipe away from the linkage.

You describe both a rumble and a rattle.

Exhaust pipe hitting the shift linkage is unlikely to suddenly occur.
If it is indeed hitting, the sound would be erratic and occur under load at certain gears and rpms.

It sounds more likely to be worn shifter bushings which would produce a buzz at certain rpm through the shift knob. Does the noise lessen when your hand is firmly on the shift knob?

If it is misaligned shifter assembly, the 4 bolts under the rubber shifter boot can be loosened to allow fore and aft adjustment. There is a procedure in the factory manual to follow, and it has shifter distance to dashboard reference data.
