Our 1999 1.0 euro mk5 swift gls losses speed at around 110 kmh. This only happens at the highway. It started happening a year ago. It has 2765000 kilometers on the clock and a g10a engine. Anyone knows how to fix this?

A compression test will tell you. The engine is probably just worn out

Assuming that the original poster meant that the car has travelled only 276,500 kilometers and not 2,765,000 kilometers - other simple things to check include maintenance items which could restrict performance particularly at higher engine speeds.

(1) fuel filter clogged
(2) air filter clogged.
(3) catalytic convertor (if equipped) clogged
