Hey guys/girls,
Anyone know if there are any organized California Swift Clubs? I'm looking to put a website togeather where we can organized meets, parts sales/trade..etc. I'm just trying to see how much interest there is for this. Reply if your interested. Later.

How about organizing a Swift meet somewhere in Southern CA?

I live north of Los Angeles.

That sounds like a good idea. Let's let this post linger around for a bit so we can get some more interested. As a rough rough estimate, let's plan for a meet sometime this summer in huntington beach. If anyone has any meet ideas, feel free to post them. Assuming there are no socal/cal swift clubs, i'm going to get a website going for one.

I've been reading some other posts, and I think we might get a better turnout if we include the surrounding areas, and call it a Southwest Swift Club. SSC of America sounds sweet anyways.. :yeahyeah ..and besides, i think vegas would be a fun setting for a meet.

How about we have meet down at California Speedway when there is a SCCA Solo event going on? It's centrally located for all of us. Vegas would be hard for me to do.

Saturday is practice but it's hard to get a spot in practice. It would be better to go on Sunday for the actual event, you get less runs.

I'm itching to see how my car will perform.

That would be sweet, I hope my swift will be ready this summer, i would love to take it out on the track. Its a great setting for a meet also. I like the idea, just curious where Cali speedway is. Regardless, i would be up for it.

I'm still interested in following through with this event.. I'm not sure if my swift would be done in time, but i would still go. When are we aiming for? early june? late July? Let's try to get this rolling, i think it would be great for the southwest swift community.

Hey, haven't heard from anyone in a while.. What's everyone up to these days? Still any interest in getting togeather later this summer. The swift is still in pieces, but its moving along..slowly but surely. Let me know how things are going.

Let's set a date. You know Mulholland can take you to PCH via Decker Rd.

That sounds like it would be a blast. I found out this week that i'm going to be stationed in Hawaii in late January. I would be totally bummed if i didnt get the chance to do a Cali Swift cruise. The swift should be started in two weeks, but i'm still looking at mid Nov for a driveability date, for i still need to work out turbo piping and tuning issues. Keep me updated on what you guys are up too, i'm trying to get the beast going asap.

Maybe the 3rd of December, it's a Saturday. I think that gives all enough time to get our crap together.

For those of you who are anxious like me we can do an informal meet sometime soon. What do you think?

I have been dieing to meet up with other Swifts ever since I got my car and joined the board three years ago. Now there are finally enough of us to form a decent group.
