I'm trying to get a hold of the events coordinator at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove WI. I want to see if they can give us a designated staging lane so we can all race each other. :)

line up all the cars nose to tail. when you get motioned into the launch pad ,make eye contact with the guy and point front to back of your car. he will line you up with the guy behind you. they usually are good guys . :) have fun!!

Yeah that is what I usually do when I am there racing my friends (with my 5.0 Mustang). I wanted to see if they would designate one staging lane or the short staging lanes (for special events) for all us Geo/Suzuki guys. I would hate to get mixed in with all the other cars. Even with our own lane we will have to be mentally prepared for all the hasseling from the other racers.

i had a good time the first time i took my vert! i wore my helmet and fire jacket, that i have for my other car,and sat in the car. poeple would walk by and snicker at the 'geo' and then see me inside! their eyes would get big and they would say something along the lines of 'holy crap ,he's wearing a jacket!! how quick is that thing!!!' ahhh good times!!

If that happens, it'll probably be on a weekday, weekends are packed at GLD. That's why RSD ( Real Street Drags )always happens on Thursdays, less people and you get 4 or 5 runs in a span of 2-3 hours.

Why not hold a meet at Road America in Elkhart Lake?

RSD is awesome there. I went last year in Sept. with my Stang and had a blast. If we try to get everyone to meet it will have to be a weekend.

We could probably get a lane at the track in Cedar Falls Iowa. They usually arent too packed and I seen a RSX club show up and they all got there own lane. Its a nice track too.

I've owned three turbo sprints, I'm currently building my third. If I have it up and running by the time of the meet I'll come, if it's in the summer I should. I live in east tennessee but am willing to make a road trip as long as it's not too far.

I'm slightly southwest of chicago. There's always byron, or route 66 raceway. My geo is down for the count until my truck gets paid off.
