Purposing a meet sometime in the summer. Perhaps somewhere where alot of us could meet towards the US/Can border. make a fun weekend out of it. NO idea where... just curious to see what people thought... suggestions for locations etc. I was thinking maybe the Toronto and surrounding area people could all drive together down to windsor/detroit... where we could meet up with some guys in the US. perhaps make a camping weekend out of it.

anyway. perhaps this is a shot in the dark?... but just thought id entertain the idea this early in the year.

cheers, Tim.

A central meet would be awesome but very hard to organize. We have the Canada/USA ones here on the westcoast already (hopefully I can make it out to my first one this time around :D ) and are pretty successful, looks like the next one in the works will be the best yet. I would love to be able to meet some of the members from the eastcoast as well, both Canada and the USA. We would probably have to plan something like that at least a year in advance so that people could book holidays around it.

Fairly new here and don't know you long timers But I might suggest a generalized location for Calif, to Wash. and Points East. For June 30, July 1, July 2, (see this address for info.) http://www.northwestmotorfest.com It is a premiere show and is a Celebration of all things Motorized. I went the first two years with some real airplanes, and 300 to 600 more motorized modes of transportation and it was fantastic. I do know the person in charge and am pretty sure as of this moment we could have a designated area for those from this forum or group. They have had some good headliners previous years also (Cars and Actor from movie American Graffiti, Actors and Munstermobile from TV's the Munsters Show ETC.) I may take my plane again but would pull it there with my 92 metro 3 popper (being rebuilt w/ some superf1y parts).
