I better never bring my Neon over, it would totally obliterate all of the cars there easily. Trust me, I have raced Turbo GTI Golfs with my Neon and surprised the hell out of people. And by the way, no calling that 2.0L a piece of shit. It is a freaking jem. Mine shrieks like a porsche at high revs, lots of people love it. A friend of mine has one with 354,000 kms, all original, except on second clutch. Lots of people drive their Neons well past the point where Honda's cough and give up the ghost! Ask yourselves this: Have you ever, and I mean, ever, seen a neon shoot blue smoke out of its tail pipe, NEVER!!! A bud of mine got rid of his 2004 Civic because he was angry with the blue smoke every time he floored it! So PLEASE don't get "ME" started!

Tim,
don't do it,...you'll lose your money and he will take it and make his car even faster!
Dude, he beat a 13s GTi!!

You don't stand a chance.

I volunteer to be the 'inbetween' / escrow if/when this happens.

Tim, why would you subsidize a quicker neon?

this thread is turning into a childish pissing contest. You guys sound like a bunch of honda fanatics. lol. "My cars faster" "no way guy, my cars got DOHC VTEC!" "lets race then!" "er...ugh....my car isnt running right these days, maybe some other time" lol. Im not saying race on the street, infact, i think you guys should go to the track, however, its pretty rediculous to be talking like this especially from you two (tim and paul). i thought you guys were above and beyond that sort of behavior.

and ssgti12345...if you've had a video all along, where were you when we were all crying out to get a hold of the damn video? lol. can you send me it? rotorygreg@hotmail.com

i say we should all agree that no other vehicles be bought to swift meets other than suzukis. that solves all these 2.something domestic cars showing up and getting ther ass handed to them by a 1300cc sewing macine

pft. wouldnt be the same without you man. you are the exception. lol.

really though, i thought we were a more open minded group here...i guess not though. I have no problem with off makes attending. they are welcome as long as it doesnt become swift VS whatever...

Part of these meets is to have fun and meet friends who cares what we drive. Turning this into a Suzuki exclusive meet I guess knocks me out too. MK5's are far more domestic (a lot of GM involvement) than "Real Suzuki's" so I guess my Firefly no longer qualifies either. Well it was fun, I guess, while it lasted.

what i meant is more allong the lines of what greg said people can come in whatever i just am a little tired of my cars faster....no mine is and yadda yadda american vs import everybody should just STFU and bring there car to the track and settle all this shit not all just talk that was my main concern... bram and pontyfly and all the rest are all welcome i was just misunderstood what i was trying to say

:stfu: all of you cuz my car is da best !! I beat a viper the other day!!
But seriously - Meets are to meet and chat, the track is where to race.
I agree this is a Swift forum but let's be open minded to other makes because in the end cars are what we enjoy.
