Count me in for the 19th. Gonna just detail the GTi and schedule repaint for later. Wanna see how she runs.

The site will be the same as posted earlier in this thread, the south Seattle parking lot mentioned by JVS
And the 19th is the date, so we are good to go.
any Canadians wnting to travel down with me and Jr get a hold of me so we can arrange a meet up to cross together or meet south of the border.

Well we had a mini meet in Langlay last night, with me, Jr, lihtan and Mudrat.
Nobody else turned up but a bunch of nice chevy's and various cruisers were there.
On our way back from the mission drags me and jr met up on the road with a Mk3 GTi.
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn45 ... C00964.jpg

The driver saw us following him and pulled into a park to say hello.

He knows about teamswift but has never joined, nice follow tho and he realy enjoys his GTi.

Yes it takes a long time to get a meet together, and a lot of patience to organize.
but we are for sure gonna do this July 19th.
if anyone wants to suggest what we can do when we all get together, fire away with the suggestions.
In past we have all met then gone for a pizza, also gone for a drive together although busy traffic is hard to keep all together.
But if we have maps and know where to meet up if we get seperated, it can be done.
we also have gone to a members place for a BBQ, and just sat around and chatted.
If the weather is bad we should have a rain plan, although I am expecting good weather.
bring chairs is also a great idea, so put that on your packing list

if you're willing to come down from the OK, pm Knuckles, my dad for info on canadians meeting up. We'll probably meet up at the McDonalds at 264th Street and Fraser Highway. Thats what we did last time, then crossed at Aldergrove border crossing.

I'll put you on the list, post if you can't come, or PM Knuckles for more info.

Meeting time for Canadians will be 730am -830am at McD's at 264th and Fraser Hwy in Aldergrove, Sat July 19th.

This is so we can cross the border before it gets way too busy, then we will head down to Burlington to Krispy Kremes for a stop and maybe meet some other US members if they want to travel in the pack.

I know me, Jr and Zurech are commited, so we have 3 cars already.
Anyone else wanting to join us at either these 2 locations, please let me know so we can expect you.

Come on out people we would like to see a good group.

So Who is in on the trip from the Canadian side besides me, Jr, Zurech and possible an Okanagna member?

Need to know what Canadians plan on traveling in the pack.

Also and Washington Members who want to meet in Burlington let me know also?
this way we don't miss anyone or waste a lot of time waiting for anyone to show up.

Its basically gonna be a drive, and don't know what to do once we get there so I guess we will just wing it.
bring a lawn chair it's always good to have a seat.
Anyone needing to know where in Seattle the main destination is, maybe JVS can repost a map and directions from the I5.

Come on out people.
It will be nice to put faces to all the West Coast members on this forum.

There are 9 people in the list above, everyone on that list post a final confirmation. If we can get more... post that too.

PM'd Jr. I'll be there. Just wish that UPS and the USPS would hurry and ship my parts. The 89 is down to the bare front end right as we type. I'm waiting on steering tie rods (inner/outer), brakes, pads, lower arms, and to put her all back together. If she can't be there I will drive the Focus up, but I will be there, rain or shine. Shit, did I just curse us?! 8)

LOL this aint no show and shine just a friendly get together.
we don't usually care how good our cars have to look, so rain or shine its on.
If you did curse it, we will figure out a dry place to drive to, or place to go have food and coffee.
who knows we may have some surprises happen.

You can add 2 cars and drivers to the list. Also I was going to bring some extra glass headlights for a swift, if anybody might be interested in them. If anybody might have the optional armrest for a 93-94 swift I would be willing to make a deal or straight out swap.

Knuckles would probably be interested in those glass headlights, well, more or less me lol.

Will you be meeting at the Levits Parking lot? or the Krispy Kremes, I'll put you down as the parking lot, but let me know if you want to meet up with us at the krispy kremes.

Bang-on ! I got my car to start. I don't think I can get it together and insured though within a week. It won't be this time, but later on I'd like to meet up with the knucles clan.
