I need your help and guidance. Some friends and me are going to Montreal for the "FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA" in June. We're renting a van ( or an R/V depending on how many people will go ), and driving there. We need a place to stay, or if we drive in R/V then a campground that's located relatively near the track would be nice. If we end up at a campground, then obviously we'll need to get to the track somehow. So what I'm asking is if you guys can send me some links or phone numbers to motels in the area. Or just a direct number to local chamber of commerce/tourist info/stuff like that.
:D

For the motel there's no problem but for the campgrounds close to the city,i don't know any. Also get to the track with your car is not suggested, places in the parking lot are oviously limited, expensive and you need to know how to get there (with the traffic,it will be a mess).Taking the metro (subway),will save you a lot of trouble, money and time.
The best thing is to get a motel, here's one I suggest:

Colibri's motel
6960 St-Jacques st. West
514-486-1167

It's located 10 minutes from downtown,5 minutes from the metro station which is around 30 minutes from the track.Prices are around 80$ but not sure for the formula 1 week-end,rooms are clean with air conditioning.

This is the best time to come to Montreal, biggest event here in Montreal, girls everywhere you look 8) .I'm there every night during the F1 grand prix week-end,just driving around so if you guys need me to show you a little bit of Montreal, just ask.
