Hi all,
I've been working on my 97 Metro and after getting it all back together it's got a leak or two and I am just mentally exhausted from working on the car up to this point. Any good Metro mechanics near Dallas/Ft Worth who want to make a little extra money who want to take a crack at fixing the leaks? I think it might be a cam and/or valve cover. I just can't take any more time off work to work on it an I'm mentally exhausted.
Probably wouldn't take someone who knows what they're doing very long, I'm just at my limit.

Found the source of the main leak, it was from the crank position sensor, the oil pan gasket didn't go all the way around it so I am going to pull the pan off and replace it with RTV tomorrow. But, I think one or both of the axle seals are leaking so I'm going to try to replace those as well. I've never done those and it will be hard to do because my axles are rusted frozen into the hubs so could use an extra hand on Friday/Saturday fixing that. If anyone has a few minutes to help, please let me know! Free drinks and food.

Best of Luck getting your Geo Metro fixed. Unfortunately, I'm in the Los Angeles area (Uggh!!) and can't make it out your way. I know and can totally relate to your situation as my '90 4 Dr. always has it's issues. Just keep plugging away and don't give up. Another reason why I drive a Geo Metro is the ease of servicability and they're so easy to work on. Let me know how things turn out.
