I was over at Home Depot and had just got out of Ice Bucket when I noticed TJ's (hopefully a new member-to-be!) ride out of the corner of my eye. (He's wanted to see a gathering of Metro owners for a long time and is looking forward to the next PNW Metro gathering)
I'll let the pictures from my crummy camera phone speak for themselves...

That's a lot of bling for that 3 cyl to haul around.

Are you sure that's not Rich incognito?

Yup, western Oregon, Washington and British Columbia, all three, get the rain and higher humidity. What's fun is when we get hit with a "Pineapple express" from Hawaii. When that long band of clouds comes in from across the pacific, that's when webbed toes can be handy! ;)

I should have taken a close-up of the shift lever knob. Not sure, but I think it's wood. Tj said he brought it back from Japan. Oh...
Nummy, nummy...
I'd love to get a couple of those for Copper Top and Dust bucket! =)

The luggage rack on the trunk confirmed what I've suspected for a long time. It's just a personal preference, but for me it improves the look of the rear deck. The short, stubby trunk deck never appealed to me visually, and something like a spoiler or rack breaks up the lines.

If it's not raining, I'll give him a call tomorrow and take Dust Bucket for a spin over to his place.

you know, that car has had a lot of love.

i was scoping out the high intensity led array in the lighting lineup, the air horns, the triple gauge pillar mount. the custom tonneau cover.........

there's even a couple of tricks to be learned to delete the air bag and get a useful custom steering wheel.

lottsa' love in that vert. :ez_pimp:

It's been an extremely busy day for me, but TJ & I managed to get together today for about 15 minutes at one of the local grocery stores where I was able to snap several close-up shots with my regular camera before having to take off. Later, we got on the phone and I was able to help guide him to the TeamSwift site (indirectly, through the Bing search engine as it turned out), show him the basics and walked him through the registration. We hit a roadblock though. His experience with computers is limited, so he didn't know how to get to his TeamSwift activation email - his wife and daughter have basically been handling emails for him from what I understand, but they're "across the pond" at the moment.

So, at least he's finally able to browse around the site (Woo-hoo!!!).

Be patient t3 ragtop... It's just a matter of time until someone clicks the activation link in the email, and then, let the fun begin!!

Baby steps, baby steps... :)

TJ is planning to head out to the coast for the End of the World classic car rally hosted by http://www.beachbarons.com/html/events.html over at Long Beach, WA, and asked that I pass this info on to the local TeamSwifters, in case they didn't have anything else going on this weekend. (He's not sure at this point, but he may not be taking his vert for this trip)

Here's some more close-up shots I took with my regular camera. Enjoy! :)

Yeah I was gonna say, when the hell did my dad buy a vert?! Nice little whip, a little too much for my liking, but it definitely has enthusiasm and moto-love written all over it

I can confirm that the guy is mildly retarded...not severely.

Mildly because he got reproduction c5 Z06 rear brake scoops and put them above his rear wheel wells....

He would have been severely retarded had he forked over $$ for the OEM ones...

Up until the other day, I thought only women could breast feed.

That was before I saw Tommy nurse that 'vette down the quarter mile.

If you're gonna sport the plastic penis, you gotta be able to use it
