Yes, Engine Whisperer, I will be bringing my 87 Sprint Turbo.
43 mpg on my last tank. Sold my 92 GEo XFI to a guy who flew up from
San Diego. And he made it back without any problems. I guess I should have asked
more for it. Anyhow, went to a good home.
I might be OK east to Ellensburg or as far north as Everett.
Lets have a trunk swap meet too!?
Hope to see some old faces and some new ones.
doug

I would go but. 1400 miles is a bit much for me. If you guys ever get closer to Nebraska let me know. Maybe we could all travel from one side of the U.S. to the other as a big geo mob lol

Knuckles might be there, He is Really Busy and Jr is in School. Hopefully They Will be There if the timing is right. It is kinda weired without them making the plans.

So far it will be on Sunday at last years location. The week is still up in the air, don't forget to vote on the week.

I think the poll shows that Sunday July 10, 2011 will be the date. I have edited the first post for all the details.

I am soooooo glad I didn't assume you knew about this!

Guys,
watercat posted a metro for sale on CraigsList that included this YouTube link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9t1WWa-iB8
I only made it half way through before I had to stop the video and ask him if he was planning to attend...

So guys and gals, what's your reaction?
Sweaty palms...?
Heart palpitations...?
Involuntary drooling...?
His shop!! Oh... his shop!!!

Jeff, I am so glad you finally registered with TeamSwift! :D

:) For those of you that haven't seen the pictures yet: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=48877

I called and left a voice message on his cell phone late yesterday before heading out to the local Memorial weekend square dance camp out where Mrs. G-Whiz & I first met 11 years ago. Haven't received a call back from him yet but when I told him about it a week or two ago, he was definitely interested.

And shame on me for not mentioning it sooner, but he invited me (us) to corvair.org's 14th Annual Orphan & Discontinued Car Show at the Triple XXX Rootbeer Drive-In in Issaquah WA (http://www.triplexrootbeer.com/) on July 31st (http://www.corvair.org/chapters/chapter981/), with an additional invite to a "Topless at the Triple-X" gathering - just 2 weekends away - on June 12th (http://convertiblesonly.com/convcruisein2011.htm).

I'll let you know when I talk to him next.

TJ will be there! :)
If anyone is interested in the racing seats, he's pulled them out already and replaced them with some seats from a Miata.

Love to be there, just takes a little planning. Is it for sure on July 10th?

Could be a possibility pending I can shuffle schedules around!
