POST-MEETUP EDIT:

We had an awesome turnout! :!: 8)

Grand total about 15 Metros/Swifts present, and at least 20+ folks counting Significant Others and family who came along. Several had to leave early, so I wasn't able to catch them in the photos unfortunately (2 or 3 Metros were there beyond what's shown below).

All in all an excellent showing.

Many came in from a long distance - Portland OR, Vancouver WA, Granite Falls WA, etc. etc.

There were many, many onlookers and had probably half-dozen cell phone camera paparazzi sneaking photos, like this one:

There was interest in having regular meetups, and maybe several smaller but more local meetups in northern and southern halfs of Western WA to reduce driving.

There was definitely interest in a summer meetup! :D

That will be something we'll be bringing up at the gathering - Several of us are also interested in doing some kind of gathering every other month or so over pizza/coffee/whatever.

It looks like JV@S driveway accept there'd be more MK1's and a whole lot more cars total. :D :D
That being said, It looks like fun, I wish there were enough survivors and cognisanti, Here in the Midwest, to do something like that. Best wishes to each, Jonathan
