Well guys, it looks like we will have at least as big turnout as last year. Im hoping couple more people will show up and couple of us will make it out with different rides. If you are in contact with any of the people from last year and they have not chimed in please let them know we are having another meet. I forgot name of the guy that was with us last year and in 2010 with that nice red Mk2 GTi , he is board member but doesn't come around very often. I know someone has his phone number , will you please let him know.

Im thinking we meet on Sat the 14th behind MikiD in Albertsons parking lot at Agoura rd. & Las Virgenes rd. around 9AM . Hang out there and wait for everyone to arrive till lets say 10-10:30 . File out of parking lot and proceed to SoCal "green hell" for a 21miles of twisties . There will be few pullouts with awesome views we can stop on second lap  for some Kodak moments. When we had enough of that, cruise down to Rock Store on Mulholland and mingle with that crowd for lunch. After lunch we could check out Latigo Canyon, Decker Canyon or what ever else you guys come up with . All these roads connect to PCH so we can stop down by the beaches of Malibu and find nice coffee place for break from action. If we do all this that will pretty much eat up the daylight.

If any of you are up for it , James and me will be in Calabasas on Friday night and staying till Sunday about noon. We are planing on hanging out at Cars&Coffee at Woodland Hills Mall on Topanga Canyon Blvd & Erwin st. on Sunday morning till the crowd starts filtering out . We will head back to AZ then.

Please feel free to chime in with suggestions. Lets have a great weekend :D

Oh yeah, I'm still in--the locations work great for me because I can stay with relatives.

I'm up for Cars and Coffee too. 8)

I did talk to John and he will be coming up from SD. He had really busy month with place he works at moving to new location but he indicated he will try to make it.
James and me will be staying at Good Night Inn in Calabasas , right behind where we are meeting, Las Virgenes rd & Agoura rd . Nothing fancy , just a clean bed and hot shower kinda place. James and I were working on his car till about 9PM and it got cold so we quit. I hope we will have everything sorted out by Friday morning so he can drive it to the meet.

Phil will be there, but unfortunately solo, because his wife has to work that weekend. Our buddy Milton will not make it because of his work schedule. I contacted few guys in AZ and 1987TurboSprint but no one confirmed and some didn't even bother responding, like I was asking for money or what not :blackeye:

Looking forward seeing you all again. :D

Woooooohoooooooo!

Too much fun. Pictures and video when I can recover at home 8)

Hey, if y'all are checking your TeamSwift tonight, where's cars and coffee tomorrow really and at one time? There's two malls at Woodland Hills, the one at Topanga & Erwin is the "Promenade" and I'll assume that's it, but there's another one just a bit north.

What time will you two be there? I can't find any reference to a cars & coffee in the area on Sunday.

As we come to expect it was another fantastic TeamSwift meet. Mother Nature was kinder to us this year and the weather was fantastic too. None of that silly stuff, 39F in the morning, we had last year. Morning was balmy 50+ and during the day high 70s

Most people that were there last year made it and in the good mood , ready for some fun. After fueling up with a breakfast at MikiD's and catching up with everyone's news from the past year we headed out to the canyons for some heel and toe practice

We spent all day doing what factory intended when they designed our cars. From "Green Hell" loop , Mulholland , Latigo to Decker, traffic was light roads were smooth and cops were busy with unfortunate ones
Half way through the day we stopped at the legendary "Rock Store" had a lunch and then went on to drive The Snake before descending down to PCH and Malibu
After many miles and untold number of curves and hairpins we finished the day with coffee break in Malibu . Some had to head home and some of us met next day at Cars&Coffee to see some nice and expensive machinery and rub shoulders with rich & famous . Me and James then drove up to The Snake again because Sunday is when all the action is happening and we had to get some more sights , sounds and smells . We were not disappointed ................

Okay, I'm officially jealous. This picture was taken well before the 20+" dump we just got. This is what most of us in Canada (except the lower rainland/the wet coast/Vancouver area) look forward to from November until at least March. I'm not complaining though. I'll take the snow over the rain and the lack of congestion on the commute to drive 20 minutes to go 10 miles or go a mile a minute up here even though the limit is 45 MPH. There is a two mile stretch and 5 lights where you may wait more than one cycle of the lights (if you have to go through that area, other than that, you barely get up to temp before you're at work for most commuters).

I know how you feel , ten days ago I was up at 8000' and -11F and two days of that was quite enough for me , congestion or not. Guess I lived too long in a bright , warm and sunny place. Fortunately Phoenix is not LA, yet , as far as traffic, but even if it was, sitting in traffic with the windows down is not so bad as laying in front of the car putting snow chains on =)

Just a side note, the most disappointing part of the meet was lack of anyone from LA area. Apparently 20 min commute is too much to do for them. Closest participant came from Palm Springs almost 100 mile away and the furthest from the Bay Area.
