At 159,000 it was time to replace the original front and rear rotors and calipers. Because of siezed rear caliper pins and issues with rusted pin bores in the rear mounting brackets and for convenience I decided to go with re-manufactured semi-loaded calipers (complete except for pads). After several weeks of research and on the advice of my local jobber I selected Canamotive Automotive Rebuilders (CAR) part #s SL8604, -05, -06, -07.

In summary, I would certainly not recommend Canamotive Automotive Rebuilders calipers for a specialized low production application like the 1994 Suzuki Swift GT and would be leery of using their product in other cases. I hope that by posting my experience, it will save other TeamSwift members from the same grief.

Regards, Mark

Thanks for the karma guys.

As for the review, it was originally going to be a complaint letter to Canamotive but after speaking to their representative I figured it would have little or no effect.

Hopefully "poor quality canamotive" will show up on Google soon . . .
