Hey guys just wanted to give every one who might be intrested in purchasing a head gasket set from JIS engines on Ebay a quick heads up. The valve seals that come with the kit are the incorect ones, they are to small. I have contacted them about this and am waiting for a reply. In the mean time I was forced to buy the seals from another supplier, of course they only had 14 at a cost of $32 (half what I payed for the whole gasket set top and bottom) the other two I needed came from UAP at a cost of $7 each (ouch).

Keep us updated... I also bought a gasket kit from them.... I'll check the valve seal size vs. a known good one later, to see if mine is incorrect, too.

Summit Racing has the FelPro top end kits that include the proper "viton" valve stem seals.

I live in Cambridge, the reason I had to pay so much for the valve seals was because I needed them now and had no time to look around for the best deal. My head was on the head bench waiting to be assembled while my vert sat on the hoist taking up space. I was non to pleased with UAP's price of $7 each for a valve seal.
