installed sandros chip in my car the other day.
according to G tech
before chip: 106 hp/103lb TQ
mods, intake and exhaust

after chip
mods intake, exhaust and sandro chip
117hp/119lb TQ

thats a 9 hp gain and a 16lb tourque increace!!!!! well worth the money imo.

BTW i am running STOCK cams so its a good chip.
helped me to achieve a 15.7 sec run 1/4 mile:D very happy thanks sandro!

Very interesting you did that with stock cams.

How does it idle?

So I guess it's time now for you to get the cams now.

this chip has bigger gains than toms chip and also uses ur o2 sensor as where toms disregards it. sandro is swifty92 on the forums

Because itsageo tested his 210/340chip withouth the cams, I decided to try mine also to see how it'll work.

So I tested the 210/340 chip in my gti. I do not have my 210/340 cams installed yet, but it works perfectly! :D Idle is rock steady at 1100rpm. It even has more power than my previous chip  (and my car has around 6 months without a service). Can't wait to get my cams and cam gears installed (and a service).

CEL light is on but that is because my car is a euro spec gti (no O2 sensor). But I have a Canadian ecu wiring harness and I think i'm gonna change it for that to get rid of the CEL.

I'll also get this chip tested on the 1/4mile to see what it can do. After that, I'll get my 210/340cams and cam gears installed. It should be interesting.

I agree. It certainly feels that way.

Keep the good reviews coming...the community has been waiting a while for a better chip that is readily available.

Ah, okay, didnt know sandros' chip made more HP....

I have been pm'ing sandros reference some parts for a few days, and still no response...
I guess he travels a lot or something?

Well, if his chips arent too expensive, I'll be buying one too.

I imagine though, to buy one I have to be able to get into contact with him...

He is a busy guy...give it a bit of time. The chip is more expensive than the Tom's chip but IMO well worth the extra expense. Getting a Tom's chip may be hard too though...getting items (or even responses) from OCC are a hit and miss affair unless you happen to know Adam personaly.

If this chip uses the o2 sensor wouldnt really be good for the guys in the uk as all our pre 92 cars have no cat, would it run without an o2 sensor, do you know?

Im not sure if the chip actually uses the O2 sensor, I had an O2 sensor installed in my car when i got it tuned, but im not sure if it actually is doing anything
