These gauges are petty cool, they come with their own Map sensor that make install easy as hell, and also very accurate.

Basically, it comes with a guage that has 6 wires... 3 of which are on a harness...
the other three are Power, Ground, and Light Swith
Then you get a map sensor that has a plug for the harness with the two wires, and nipple for the hose you will Tee off to get a Boost/Vacume reading.

The good part about the map sensor being seperate is that you can make the hose to the manifold (or wherever you get a boost/vac reading from) really very short, for a more accurate reading.
With my last gauge, i had to run a hose all the way to the gauge through the firewall, and the dash...

anyhoo, i manage to hook up the gauge so it came on with the dash lights and worked with the dimmer...
this was accomplished by splicing the power wire to the Power wire for the Dash light Adjustment knob, and the switch wire to the output wire of the same adjustment knob.

Looks great, i'll try to grab some pics when she's up and running again.

Until then, here's a link to the Autometer Homepage, so you can can search up more if you like.

I will be installing my Autometer boost gauge this weekend. I will also do an update with it, including pictures.
