Hey, can you guys help me out? I have a 96 Metro 1.3 5-speed, I found a low-mile 99 Metro engine that is bolted to an automatic. The 96 is obviously carbureted, the 99 fuel injected, so can I swap it all over and use my intake manifold from my 96 and go carb with the 99 motor? Does the 96 carb intake bolt to the 99 FI head? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

Thx, Ed

The blocks are typically the same. You can do that swap.

Thx man, so I can bolt the carb intake mani to the FI head? Have you done this before? Also, are there any pains with the flywheel to the crank or any other anomolies between the auto block and the standard block? S/B the same I 'm sure, just checking.

Thx, Ed

You'll need the ecu and complete wiring harness from the 99.

OBD2 vs OBD1

MPFI vs TBI

Etc.
