there are no 'drop in and go options" all will involve different mounts, trans linkage, exhaust, computer etc. Think about a cam and cam pulley to increase your 3cyl power, or if its tired freshen it up, you may pick up some power after new valves and rings are installed.

I know this is not what you're looking for - but - there are whole different swaps people do with Geo's - and that is to swap out the gas and Go to an Electric Motor, Which requires the use of an adapter plate, like was done on the one I am driving - which was converted some 14 years ago. See http://www.myelectricfly.com for more on it.

I will be exhibiting it at EV Fest, where there will be one of our exhibitors that loves to do the kind of things your looking to do - Aaron Cake!

Anyway - As I have seen a 1.2 L VW Lupo Diesel installed in a Honda Insight on the web - done by an aquointance of mine, http://99mpg.com/Projectcars/redlightracingworl/ - I am sure you could probably put the 4 Cylinder in that Geo, but you might need to add in a 4 Cylinder tranny too!

not a problem as long as you use the compatible engine mounts and axles. little things like the clutch cable being a shade longer on the 3 banger won't matter.
