keep the original 1.6 in there, you should be able to turbo it without many problems. i think compression ratio is around 9:1

i owned a couple of x90s, my wife still has one =)

i think that you might not be getting the response that you're looking for due to the fact that the x90 isn't a swift variant - and this is a swift oriented site.

a lot of the sammy, tracker, and sidekick guys like the twincam re-engined 4 wheelers, especially the turbocharged monsters. the saying goes, "there's no replacement for displacement" and while .3 liters doesn't sound like a bunch. the larger displacement may have an advantage. then again, the twincam has an amazing bottom end and the propensity for spinning high revs. sometimes the trade-off between higher rpm and larger displacement is advantageous as rpm also adds up in the torque equation.

crunch the numbers. that will help you make up your mind.

You should do the same as my friend in Costa Rica

Take a lolk at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN5B4hJnBoU

He swapped an 2.0 engine from Sidekick + G35 turbo @ 14 psi this car was really fast making 12seg. (1/4 mille)

Last time I talked to this guy he imported a engine from Japon SER20DET RWD from Nissan Silvia so he is in the middle of the swap!!!

Otherwise the suzuki engine was really good he raced with this car at least 2 times by week for too manny months at 14psi, so I can say at 7PSI you can get a very durable proyect!
