got the T-3 engine mounted to a metro 5 speed
removed the drivers side auto tranny mount and drilled for the manual mount
added a metro pass engine mount to the T-3 block
the pass(auto) frame mount is about 1 inch back from a 5 speed.......
have to drill out the spot welds tomorrow and weld in proper location

auto motor mounts are different? yes
the drivers side trans mt is diff...YES
is the rear trans mount different between auto and 5 sp?....

if anybody has the quick easy on the wiring swap....much thanks in advance
else it's chase wires for a day or two to get everything hooked up

glad i'm figuring this out before the XFI/5sp in a convert(auto) swap

The sprint was a rusty turd
the auto body was raided for the engine and the trans was bad, but the Windshield was not cracked!!!!!
just using up crap that was laying around....total upgrade cost so far....$0

can i get away with the metro Fuel pump or is the T-3 a higher press....haven't looked at the book yet for specs.

worst case it looks like the T-3 pump will swap directly......the tops of the tanks look the same

drilled out the spot welds on the engine mount in prep for moving it fwd about 1 inch and cleaned up the metal.

on side note, added a DEL SOL 3rd brk light to my new mini clone. I mounted it upside down at the top of the glass inside the car. cheezy thin metal mount, but it works and looks good from the outside.
