So I was wondering if it is possible to put a 2000 suzuki swift 1.3L engine into a 91 firefly's body?

yes

if they're both 5spd all you have to do is move the tranny mount.

wiring/ecu/fuel pump

What do you mean by moving the tranny mount? Is it just bolting it in a different place, or cutting/welding?

i believe where the mount bolts to the body/frame rail is in a different location. pretty sure cut/weld is needed

dont worry about it being a dohc. mounting wise its the same.

The wiring will be the most challenging. The 91 harness all goes through the firewall on driver side. The 00 is split, accessories and fuses on driver and all engine management is on passenger. You have the cut holes and find a place to mount the 00 ecu. I found it rather convenient to mount it in the glove box. It wedges in tight and snug standing up all the way in back. Youll need the motor mounts from the 00 and cut/reweld the trans mount. There is already a knock out in the frame for the other mounting location. But i found that on accident. Good luck.
