have a 1993 SOHC swift, would it be worth it to turbo the thing? or just swap in a twin cam gti motor?

identify your goal and planned usage of the car. it all boils down to how much money you want to throw at the car and how you want operate the car.

for a daily driver, you can't have more fun than driving a twincam powered car. a turbocharged twincam is a blast to drive but maybe not on a daily basis.

There's a lot to be said for the twin cam n/a....nothing beats the feeling of revving the crap out of a 1.3 all day.

I just want a nutty DD and something to use on the track occasionally.. i was thinking of just getting a rebuild kit for the stock motor and swapping in some high performance pistons,new valves, already did a bit of head work and then getting that cheap ebay turbo kit. im not looking for something that will last years..
