I already made a topic about this... in my neverending request for info i found this superb mini with a japan spec g13b from a cultus...

This car must be awesome to drive, the mini is superlight and i think it´s one of the best in the corners...minis still rule in many events in europe...

Look at the detail of the intake...really nice for turbo conversions...no nee for reverse manifolds...

Really awesome: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/392606/1

Should be fun allright...

I´ve fund another mini with our motor... but with turbo!!!
it`s in http://www.twincamturbo.com and it rock`s

" Engine has produced up to 165Hp at the wheels (over 210hp at the flywheel) and can produce more if necessary. In street trim on pump gas it produces 130/155Hp and can cut an easy 13.59 @ 109mph with fantastic reliability."

just amazing....

these have actually come up a few times before, twincamturbo.com & the first one is featured on a couple pages, but not with it's current paintjob. the new paintjob looks pretty sweet =) i think it was originally done by dave/david turner.

well I dont think the first mini made 130bhp :?

the intake manifold may be jap spec but the exhaust I dont think so.

one more thing the tacho is not from gti as it max at 8k rpm only :o

but i still think is a nice ride tho. :)

well that explain the 8k rpm max

our malaysia/singapore GTi has 8k redline and 9.5k tacho and 220kmh speedo. :)

the cultus has 180kmh speedo and the same tacho.
