If you don't have igniter wire in your main harness then you will need to splice 2 wires and add 2 wires.

Here is my simple, easy, transferable harness. Probably the best cleant method than mess up your harness by poor solder job.

First thing you need to understand this whole igntion system diagram.

Image

Splice 2 wires;
black/white = 12v when key on
brown/white = output of primary secondary

Add 2 wires; (depend on your vehicle... to make sure take a look at diagrams at http://metroxfi.com/2008/11/geo-metro-a ... -diagrams/
Common color for Suzuki is
brown/yellow = trigger
red/yellow = failed signal

For MK2 turbo;
orange = trigger
yellow = failed signal

It doesn't matter as long as you connect to ECU correct....

3x coil wires
1x igniter wire.

Please don't be jackass to cut the wire if the junkyard car looks good... just find the really really bad car first... unless you have no choice. Be kind to other. :evil:

Sold two coil wire to 1 coil wire... Must be same colors and connectors.

Here is my skill. Apply the paste, solder and add heat sink. :mrgreen:

Now you need to solder same color between coil wire and igniter wire.

Now ignore 2 brn/yel and red/yel wires.

Well mine is more longer but better than nothing. =)

That's it... It will start up the engine without no problems or code.

don't forget that if you are using a non-gt chassis you will also need to jumper the ignitor wire for the tach to the ecu feedback wire. :wink:

the gt ecu needs to see the tach signal as feedback.
