I used a similar one (it was a snowmobile battery actually) in my Stealth TT and it started that car with no problem whatsoever. I tried it in my modded Camaro SS with stock internals, 12:1 compression H/C package and it started OK as long as I charged it fully before taking it to the track. It did not last very long (6 months) in the Camaro however. It lasted over a year in the Stealth. I plan on getting one of these for my 95 Swift as part of the performance enhancing mods because weight savings help everything.

Maybe Nitro (or someone who knows) will post. I remember he had a tiny little red battery in his MK1 build.

You could also get a 200cca Deka ETX14 battery. Same thing. 11.5lbs.

I'll be interested in a) how you mount it, and b) how you start your car in winter.

for $60-100 or so they have gel cells that would be better, but I'm cheap, works just like the original starts fast, no issues.
