I need to restore a rear hatch with fresh glass and rubber. Anybody gotta source for the rubber surround that holds the glass in? Most junkyard ones are in bad shape. I'd prefer new.
Thx.

I talked to my local glass guy and he said "nothing specifically available for that year(s), but he has 3 universal styles, one of which ought to work." We'll find out when I get around to putting fresh glass in mine. I'm also thinking about stealing a good one from any spare hatch I have.

Come on guys, why not try your local dealership? Better fit IMO. Besides, the time you waste to see if the "universal" fit works. My 2 cents and a shameless plug. SGP!

Apologies for the long time to reply.
Sometimes I take "long walks" with my Uncle Sam.
It looks like my supplier is fresh out of any moldings or trim for the Mk4/5.
Hasn't had any in stock in close to a year and doesn't plan on there being any.
