How similar are the Geo Metro 1997 auto with 1.3L engine to the swift of that year? I know 1994 & earlier suzuki swift and earlier were cousins to the geo Metros/firefly from 89-94.

Are the 1997 Engine parts and front end parts similar to the 97 swift? Any comments appreciated.I am looking to buy this geo metro this week.

Delete all the Badges

Take a mixture of Metro badges.

Well the car did nice, but the compression dry is 120psi on all cylinders. when wet cylinders 1&2 only got to 150psi, 3&4 wet got to 185. Looks like a top engine rebuild is in order, rings.
Front cross member completly broken on left side. The are holding car together with metal bar bolted across the control arms. Sad.
air bag missing which confirms front end hit. Car spreading visible on wheel camber. :puker:
