First off let me say this is a great site. Found a wealth of information here. Well, here it goes, I will try to make this brief.
I recently picked up a 1995 Suzuki Swift, bone stock, with 1.3 8v. And after a few quick taps on the computer picked up a 1.3 DOHC, ECU, and Complete Wiring harness From a 92 GT.
My question/questions are, I want to have fun with this car and get involved with the autocross chapter here locally. I am looking for ideas on what YOU would do to make this vehicle drivable. ie suspension upgrades, wheels tires, brakes.. and Possible engine mods. I am not looking for 400 horse power or to tackle a Bugatti Veron. I just want to have fun with this car and maybe get a couple young teenage boys interested in my hobbies.

P.S. Suzuki's are not that foriegn to me. I have been playing modifing Suzuki Samurais for @ 20 years.

Thanks in Advance

Eric

Tommy should be able to help you with this. It was also his goal.

Prob not quite what Eric was thinking  I love it when our moderators drag the tone of the conversation down :blackeye:

Eric check out some of the autocross threads on this site already and you'll soon figure out in which direction you need to head.

He opened the door, I just answered it
Welcome to Teamswift.

Have a look in the suspension section. There are solutions anywhere from total budget, to big dollar. As far as the motor, there are a few simple recipes that work well, and they're all well covered here. I strongly recommend getting a 4.39-1 trans. It makes a big difference, especially in a heavier car like yours.
