Hey all! I've had a 2001 Swift for about 4-5 years now and recently decided to keep it for a while long. As such I'm going to start fixing it up some. First step is going to be to clean the engine since that's probably not been done since it was made. Does already have a K&N airfilter and recently just replaced the inner tie rod on the passenger side with an aftermarket one for inspection. While I'm cleaning the engine I'm hoping to replace the throttle body with a 45mm one as per suggestions I've seen in the HotRodding thread. Can't seem to find an Esteem in the junkyards around here and can't find a decent price on one online. Also what exactly were the slight modifications that need to be done?

That would be awesome. Unfortunately that will have to wait until at least my next paycheck. Get it next friday and I shall let you know if you still have it then.

I'm not actively trying to sell it so I'll still have it.

So here's the rest of the car that I have to work with. Will eventually be getting a front bumper cover courtesy of my brother whom ruined mine by backing into it with his truck and the hood should be mended as well. Got quite a few small rust spots on the hood and some on the passenger side door as well. Had a chance to finally check underneath the car last week and the rust is surprisingly tame for being in PA its whole life.

be sure to check the frame horns where the front lower control arm bolts. dont just look at it. poke at it with a screwdriver or something. they rust from the inside out in those salt using states
