After converting my 97 geo to a 5 speed and replacing the computer with the right one 1.3-MT-FED,
I now have a 1410 code and a CEL on. 1410 is for the evaporative emission system, fuel tank pressure sensor.
I have dropped the tank and to my suprise there is no pressure sensor on the tank like the factory service manual shows. The car doesn't even have the wiring for it to the fuel tank.
All rubber fuel lines and evaporative lines have been replaced. I fould a small hole in one of the evaporative rubber hoses on top of the fuel tank. I was hoping this would repair the situation. But it has not.
So the question is where would the pressure sensor be other then the fuel tank?
Is there something else wrong that would give me the 1410 error code?

Not yet. This has been a busy week for me with work.
And it is been raining all weekend. Hopefully Monday it will dry out so I can crawl under the car and look again.
We need the rain.
