I have a metro with 345000 miles. The engine has 110000 and a fresh head. Compression is perfect. Car has spark. Has new injector. Has new/junk yard ecu and trottle position sensor. Timing has been triple checked
Car started running a little rough some times and would die some times. It would restart after a while. Now the car will start run very rough then die. When you look in the intake there is a puddle of gas. If i unplug the injector the car will run tell that puddle is gone.
I checked the wire that do derectly to the injector they are fine.
I blew air through the return fuel line, seemed fine.
Pulled a part the pressure regulator on the thottle body, spring and diaphram seemed fine.

Not sure why it is flooding
Any ideas?
Maybe a worn out thottlebody?

I had another car with a bad engine coolant tempature sensor. The car still ran but rough. I guess it is worth a check. Any description on where the ect sensor is and how to test it.

Any other ideas welcome
