Are head bolts on the 1.3 sohc 16v reuseable? Just wondering why they are so hard to find.

Nope they are not resuseable.... If you do they are very likely to snap or cause head gasket problems....contact suprf1y.. Mike(3tech) usually has in stock bolts that exceed factory specs and are reusable... Very good price on them as we'll... I have a set I just bought and they are excellent...

I've reused a lot. Easily over 100 engines, zero issues.

You know this out of experience or because you found that info on a Suzuki manual (or any other reliable source)?

on TTY bolts that are to be replaced every time you find them available in the aftermarket. fel-pro, beck/arnley, etc will start making them. 1.3 SOHC bolts are not available. a company isnt going to go thru the hassle of making head gaskets but not give you an opportunity to spend more money with them and purchase the required bolts from them to complete the job.
