Ok I'm not sure if I'm just blind or dumb. I've tried searching for the DOHC engine with no luck, currently a guy wants to trade his g13bb geo for my g10 geo. So I'm curious if someone could help me find the DOHC head so I could just swap that onto the g13bb

You would also need intake and exhaust manifolds, engine wire harness and ecu, air intake with maf and such. It's a lot more than just a simple head swap unfortunately. Just for the record, the g13bb engine (1.3 16v sohc) is a great little power plant, reliable and torquey. If you can, drive it for a bit and get a feel for it. Might be easier and just as fun to put a cam and minor bolt ons into it and away you go. With easy bolt ons, they quickly get very close to gt performance I found in my experience.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't know I needed the exhaust manifold so thanks for the heads up. I was reading in a different thread that all you need is the 1.6 throttle body, bigger intake, free flowing exhaust, and re ground cams. And you'll be pushing basically the same power. But in the long term I'd probably want to turbo charge. And isn't turbo ing DOHC better than SOHC because they have bigger ports for more air?
