Looks like this little switch is expensive for a MK1 and also rare.

So I looked for alternatives:

M14X1.5mm

Tip to bottom: approx. 14mm

This one is for another car, but Rock Auto also sells it for the Suzuki Jeep model 410.

Do you think this will fit? Ordered it, not so expensive...

Here is the old one, gutted falsely ordered on the right... tried to shorten it design is not made for it.

Also says M14x1.5 and looks the same besides the connectors?! Easy fix to crimp on connectors!

A lot of Mazda parts are direct replacements for Suzuki.
Check the Mazda part line.

Got the new switch:

INTERMOTOR NOTTINGHAM ENGLAND, 5437 REVERSING LIGHT SWITCH REPLACES PEUGEOT 2257-12

Works sweet, costed nothing compared to original part. Should do the job!

All you have to do is to install two cable shoe lugs, these are slightly smaller than "ordinary" ones,
but available in my garage store 8)
