I don't know which forum to post this in, but a MKII T3 has nothing to do with MKI cars - so I'm in the MKI forum.
I don't think my T3 handles as good as my 91 5-door w/late model sway bars (should have been from 4-valve car.) Also keep in mind I run stock height tires in the 91 which also reduces body roll.
The MKI front bar is unique and I'm guessing no OE improvement available.
The torsion beam rear is also probably all there is OE. But even if a TB, an external bar could be attached.
Cutting a coil would increase spring stiffness at the expense of ride height and on a strut car, lowering
has its camber roll issues.
But I've heard that there are companies that will wind you a suspension spring to your spec for $35-40 each - very cheap.
I think there was a guy in Australia that had a MKI hill climb car but I don't remember any discussion about suspension improvements.
