I stumbled across this and thought you guys might be able to use one. The exhaust flange looks the same as the T3, but I dunno if the rest of it would be a direct bolt on or not. It shows that it'll work on a 0.9L to a 1.9L motor.

And the price is...?

I'm willing to bet it's out of the range of most budgets on here, but I suppose we can all dream. :drools:

From what I've seen on their site, you've got to send them an email to ask.

I'd love to know what horsepower this turbo would support. I'm still planning on going crazy with my 89 Metro once I can figure out what I'm gonna do with my SRT-4. We're talking about Turbo 3 rods, custom forged pistons, built head, Megasquirt, custom MPFI intake, some BIG 527 cc injectors(rated at 58 psi instead of 43 psi), and of course a nice turbo.

You can probably find the cheap on ebay. I'm serious. Dodge introduced VNT turbos on some of their vehicles in the early '90s, then they cancelled the deal after having some technical problems, leaving a lot of homeless VNTs out in the cold. These day you can find used production turbos as well as new ones from people that bought up the inventory of the unused VNT turbos. VNTs have the advantage of spooling as fast as small turbos, and support big horsepower without restriction like larger turbos. VNTs work with with adjustable vanes that open or close to accomodate the exhaust flow. Because to the vanes, boost can be regulated without a wastegate. You can find more info about them on some of the turbo dodge tech sites:

From doing a bit of research, it appears as though this turbo is designed for the VW TDi motors. I'm doing more research to try to find power limitations.
