I am sorry for the usual "brake upgrade" question. I have done search on both here and the haven and have trouble sorting out the info due to some less than specific details (ask Jard I am a "detail" person).

Anyway, I am wanting to do something about the small solid front brakes on my 87 turbo sprint and found a 90's metro vert at the local J-yard. Will they fit? If so, will I need the 13" wheel off of it? And what all will I need? I made the mistake of [assing up a mk2 gti 1.3 that was there a month ago cause I would like to get rear disks (for looks at least) cause they fit, right?

Thanks
Andy

check n1tr0's gallery. he did that swap. its a bolt on deal.didnt have to change master or prop. valve. lost slight amount of turning radius from the center point of the ball joint to the center of the tie rod being a longer distance. but i believe it was minimal. and you will need thirteen inch rims and bigger lug nuts. :) you will need seals from your car to seal the back bearing to the axle.

so off the donor car all i need is the wheels, spindle w/rotor and caliper and maybe lines? I will get new studs and drill the holes to press them in. My axle works? Just use my back seal? Should I get a new one or should the old one work?

Thanks
Andy
