I thought that SMS near me had the material or knew how to obtain it.
Now it seems they don't, saying that it was made outside of the U.S..
I am hoping that in the last couple of years someone in our group has found a new source.
I am talking about the multi red material, sometimes referred to as "Horizon red"
The number is 91-1490. Also used in the Geo Tracker.
Thanks
doug

I found it from a seller in Columbus Michigan called Original Auto Interiors. His website is http://originalauto.com/

If I recall correctly, when all was said and done, Wizewun's final cost was around $ 2G's including labor.

Thanks GTM and Jamal for your replies.
I did finally make contact with Wizewun and confirmed the source.
Ordered 2 yards at $85/yard from Original Auto Interiors and they had to
order it in.
So somewhere in the US there is an ultimate source. Be nice to find
and eliminate all the middle men.
Be Well

Hopefully when you get it, there will be some 2nd party shipping tags on it
and you can try to backtrack the source from there and give
us an update here.

Actually it was a much better deal then that, I only paid around $1100 for the seat material and the upholstery work.

Received the fabric this last Friday. I initially ordered 2 yards. Original Auto had to order from another supplier. I tried to find out the name, but they only told me that it was in the south. I suspect Florida.
The original piece they received has short of 2 yards and missing one of the stripes.
They re-ordered a larger piece from this unknown source. This one is 96" by 56" and still charged me the price for 2 yds. at $85/yd.
See the next post for the photo of the material as it came to me.
Compliments of Phil.

Once you get the cars dialed-in (compression, leaks, bearings, alignment, brakes) swap in new rubber and glass, you've got something which should last for years!
