Personally, I probably would have used a little more filler,
but amazingly enough it arrived intact in about 3 days.
He did exactly what I told him, and I sent a call tag,
it was a piece of cake really.

Way to go Fed Ex! I know UPS would have botched it.

The last one I bought from a wrecking yard for $250
they charged me another $250 freight charge. Idiots.
Now I know, $45 from Texas to CA, what a deal!

I was too late as well,
I missed out on the fuel tank and some other junk
some other lucky bastard got it.

Actually quite horrified he parted it out due to a bad turbo..
visions of the crusher.
But all the useful parts got reused,
including the shell which some guy was
swapping his wrecked sprint into.

Hey, you shoulda nabbed the one at brown field
that had that funky homemade intake...
too busy taking off the skirts I guess!
I ended up pullin the trans outa that in about
10 mins!

That's a nice box. Are you done with it or do you still need it?

Dibbs on the box :P

I've probably shipped a dozen of those over the years. I do the same, but pack it well, and use a lot of tape.
