That is a super nice car. Why don't I ever find gems like that? How much would you sell it to me for? I also see it comes with the high end console. My '87 Chevrolet sprint turbo doesn't even have a console, although I think most of my Forsa and Firefly turbos do, though I can't remember for sure 'cause I haven't driven them in so long. At least the Mk1 I'm driving now( '88 Forsa 5spd manual trans carburetted) has the only console with a working coffee cup holder, which the previous owner installed, and is the only working coffee cup holder in my whole fleet of MK1s.

You didnt get that from Texas did you? There was one that looked just like that on a Craigslist near Austin I think. Either way , that is super clean looking! Nice find!

I was ---] [--- this close to going and looking at that one.
At least I know who got it, and that it went to a good home.

Well I got it smogged easily, title transfer and plates.
Good to go.

Needs some minor TLC.
I see the Cat was replaced along with the muffler.
Gotta round up the correct stock muffler if I can find one.
Couple screws missing here and there, some rubber switch covers,
nuts and covers on the wiper arms, window felt has fallen in the door,
decals on side are not OE, needs a blower resistor.
It's got all the heat shields on the turbo etc.
Minor details..
Couple tiny dings need to be PDR'd.
Looks like there was some repainting on the back hatch maybe?
Hard to tell with what some of the dealers did back in the day.
Drives good, nary a rattle. A/C blows cold.
Love it! Auto show here I come!
