Hey Im not a Swift/Sprint owner, but my dad is and he is having a major problem with his car.

Car has about 230k kms on the car. We are not sure what the problem is with the car.

The car will not start, it ran, but the the registration ran out , it sat for 3 months and now will not start, at first we suspected the computer, since the check engine line does not come on at all, not even with the key on, (just before you engage the starter), we swapped out another computer, same thing, all fuses and relays appear to be in working condition. The only relay the clicks is the main one when you turn the car on, no fuelpump, no day time running lights... no check engine lite.

Not sure if anyone can help but it is appreciated.
Thanx
Ben T

I would start with checking the battery cables. Make sure there isn't any corrosion and check the main power wire where it connects to the fuse box near the battery. They are notorious for getting all corroded and falling apart.

NOt to sound condescending but you have attempted to boost the car right? To make sure it wasn't the battery?

"Don't argue with stupid people. They just bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience"

Your EFI relay inside the black box near the battery is either shot or malfunctionning. Remove it and install a jumper on the two big wires coming in for testing purpose. Turn the ignition on and everything should light in the dash.
