I know there was an article floating on team swift from a ricer magazine that modified injectors and made some other minor changes, achieving a respectable 50 mpg.

Does anyone have that link, or a PDF copy of the article?

I have heard that some have managed to up fuel economy on normally aspirated Sprints by making a few adjustments. I would assume the turbo Sprint would be easier to achieve better results simply due to a more efficient fuel injecting system instead of a carb.

Anyone's successful mods and adjustments much appreciated.

I know this will sound odd to some, but the best things i ever did to my Turbo 3 in regards to fuel mileage were...A custom equal length exhaust header, and a larger T25 turbo. My 43 miles to the Canadian gallon, changed to 46-51 after those changes.
I now have my 1.3 getting very close to the same mileage with some careful tuning, and biasing my O2 sensor to run around 15.2-15.6 on the highway.

How do you bias the O2 sensor for a better A/F ratio?
