The old $500.00 beast has passed its prime so I am retiring it. Well, the body at least. I am yanking the engine and tranny and putting them in the '93 body I have. It is in much better shape.

Wish me luck working outside in the below zero temps

Finally starting on this since it warmed up a little, and the fact that some stupid USAF cop wiped the ass end off of the car and then left it for dead.

WERD!!! Hot as hell!!

got started today, snow shoveled off the car (lol), fired it up for a while for s#its and grins, loosened stuff up, and waiting to get it pulled over the snow bank so I can pull the engine/tranny.

Ok, back on this project again. Picked up a 1982 Corolla wagon that I have been toying with, but it is 52 degrees (ABOVE ZERO!!!! :D :D ) and this swap is long overdue. Got the tranny out so I can fix it so I guess the engine comes out tomorrow or this weekend.

Finally.

Engine and tranny out, split and loaded in the back of the Corolla wagon. New clutch is at the parts store. Still gotta pull the ECM and then go put it all in the other car. Maybe tomorrow :ez_wink:

Been done for awhile, but my internet was down.

Left the lsi computer in the car but dropped in the xfi engine and tranny with a new clutch.

1st night out I got 46.2 MPG while doing a paper route that has more than 250 stops. FREAKING AWESOME!! Cant wait to get it out for a nice long drive to see what the highway milage is.

Check out 3-tech for parts and the other boards and forums for ideas.

Aero-modding has been shown to help quite a bit.
