i was wondering if anyone has closed the big opening in the front bumper to try and increase mpg?

i covered 70% of a 1991 with no increase in temp when 95F.
hard to say how much mpg increases

got 61 mpg combined on 14" tires but i prefer 12"

completed frame up restoration: black 1994 Swift GT 5sp -- like new ! 45mpg

Completely blocked except the part below the hood. Seems to be fine. On a hot summer day, the fan may kick on a few more times than normal, but the aerodynamic benefits outweigh the electrical current. Also after doing this to my 1998 model, I have no more bugs on my windshield.

I dunno for sure. It seems the more aerodynamic the front is, the less chance things hit the windshield. They fly over instead :huh:

Completely blocked my opening on my 94 also in the fall. No issues what so ever.
