Anybody use this mileage app for the iPhone? It seems like it's cool from the trial version. $10 is steep though

I just started using the Gas Cubby lite (free version) a few weeks ago. Prior to that, I was using Tankbuch. The Gas Cubby lite is much more detailed as far as what brand and octane of gas, whether it was a partial or total fill and leaves you room for notes. There's also a tab for service/maintenance. So far I really like it. Like most apps however, I just don't see the point in paying more than a few dollars for it, especially when the free version is fine.

Yeah, but the free version only lets you put in 5 entrys. I like the detail and charts too. I'm always checking my mileage and writing it on my receipts. This app is pretty accurate too. Like you, I was wondering about the steep price. But it is really a software program, that works. Well might add. I may stop being a cheapskate and get it.

$5 is better but I believe that is an old review. You can export the data to an excel file. Putting it in the "big computer" is what I intended to do about 3 years ago but never got around to it. What I've been doing is exporting my data from the trial version and if/when I get the app, I can import it all in. By the way I got 39.7 mpg on a trip to Nashville in the GT this past weekend.

Is that 5 cars or 5 entries total? If entries, that sucks. Rather than pay $10 for it, I'll go back to using tankbuch and keeping receipts for service in the glove box. It probably started at $5 and began selling well so the price went up. Lots of apps seem to do that.

It's $5 until Saturday. Not sure how long it's been like this. I got it and imported my old records into it.

I just saw your post. I got it too. $5 was really more than I wanted to pay, but I do like the additional data it captures and the additional ways of viewing the data over Tankbuch. Thanks!

Yeah, but $5 is better than $10. It's still on sale too.
