Post subject:  fuel efficiency has not improved much?

Hi everyone! I'm posting a thread about fuel efficiency in new release cars.

The reality that most car companies use fuel efficiency as part of their overall marketing schemes. However, a recently released study by an MIT economist found that cars haven’t been gaining as much fuel economy as commercials would have us believe. It would seem that given all the claims car manufacturers are making about fuel economy these days that automobiles are far more efficient today.

What does the reason for the modest gain in gas mileage in cars? Just follow this article Study from MIT finds fuel efficiency has not improved much and add your point of view.

I think it's depends on you generally city mileage low compare than highway. I think you drive your vehicle 55 mph rather than 65 mpg and maintain your air filter regularly it helps to improve your vehicle efficiency.
