Howdy I am looking to purchase a SS GTi BODY just the body I would prefer a 1989 model and dont need motor or any essental partz :) I have a GTi already but the body is pooched.. I just want something to paint up and transfer all my already good parts into. It MUST be in good shape and with NO major holes... it may have had holes as long as they have been professionally fixed. I can do all sorts o mechanical work... I just cant weld :( or Id just fix my own GTi so this one can NOT require any welding work AT ALL :) I also dont want it to cost as much as a full GTi for just the body... the body can have some dents and bumps as I can do fiberglass work or minor body work but it must be structurally sound.

Hope to hear from u all
Thx

Well now that sounds sweet, I just need to find a truck and a trailer for the job... other than manpower is there any way to get it on the trailer there avail? ie forklift? Free, hmm that is a very good price like the sounds o that one. 2 weeks you say thats very good as well I wouldnt be able to come pre april (road trip needs leave days so preplanning is required) so anytime after the fools day, would work well... If you want to do this thats great. There is no rush tho so you can take your time gettin the stuff out o the car. Just let me know when u want me down there, also contacting as u say is easy I'd just need specific directions when I get to "Location: Emerald city, Washington" so I can get that beauty body out of your hair and into mine..

PS. is the hatch comming or stayin?

PSS.
And anonymity is a good thing. 8) Due to the fact that I am not "selling anything" I can arrive at where ever and it wouldnt and I wouldnt think it should matter where I came from :P just as long as i brought the trailer :ez_l0l: If I were to sell something (definitly wouldnt be my GTi :redx: ) I would include its whereabouts. I did read the READ THIS B4 POSTING section at the top of the Classifieds - Items Wanted as quoted below

Normally I'm pretty lenient, but don't push your luck.

Feel free to PM me with any questions.
Thank you.

and I didn't see the requirement of specific location there I did how ever see the big bolded post at the top of the Classifieds - For Sale section... stating that you needed a loc... but that is a different place :)
