Does anyone have a fuel tank in good condition from a '87-88 MK1 turbo that they'd be willing to part with? From what I'm reading, it looks like I will need to swap tanks and install an electric fuel pump if I pursue converting my NA Sprint to the factory EFI turbo setup.

just get a electric pump that will supply 28-32lb(to the rail)
with return line back to tank

Thanks, JV&S! My Sprint is an '87 2 door.

I was actually wondering whether I could get away with installing an electric pump without swapping tanks but I thought electric pumps needed to be installed inside the fuel tank to prevent the pump from overheating? Is there a particular fuel pump model that you would recommend purchasing? Thanks in advance!

Thanks, holden_swift. Have you or anyone used this pump on an unmodded T3? I looked at the specs and it looks like a great external pump from the reviews but I fear it would be way too powerful and cause drivability issues for a stock T3. Says it provides 72.5 psi for vehicles up to 650 bhp! Am I worrying for no reason?
