looking to buy a cam that would do really well on a sohc 16v turbo motor. motor is in the process of a rebuild and looking to have it max out on power at say 8500 rpm seeing as how the stock rev limit is 6500 on this. going full out hbeam rods and vitara pistons on this if that would help make a guestimate on the spec of the cam.

They're not.

Curious why you think they are.

read on here that the valvetrain is steel instead of aluminum. if anything ill get some shims or find some other spring that would fit. dont mind a bit of frankenstien

206 degrees duration at .050" on the intake, with .370" lift
210 degrees duration at ,050" on the exhaust with .370" lift.

so i think thats the one im looking for. makes power past the fuel cut off. really agressive. nice duration numbers to go good with boost too but really high lift im assuming for boosted apps since boosted apps have larger duration numbers than lift and vice versa for n/a apps. just would have to tune it all to go together good i believe if im not mistaken. do take in mind this is my first turbo build and still learning the basics of how to build high spec motors.

forgot to mention already stripped the interior no carpet no panels roof stuff is gone kept back seat because people may want to sit back there. already made myself some headers from some megan racing headers off an eclipse. thank god for the cali emmission exhaust manifold being steel it welded nicely. this car suprisingly loves the open header. has torque better than with stock restrictive exhaust. it feels like it has a cam in it already because it pulls to redline and feels like it wants to pull more but i can garentee its stock other than my previous mods. also took out the a/c and condenser to make room for the turbo. cold air intake with cone filter. tb water lines bypassed. egr valve hole blocked off. pretty sure ive done most the things in that how to hot rod this thing other than cam and the tb off an esteem(just waiting for it to be at the local wrecking yard.) thing hauls ass for a little 1.3 litre. scares the hell outa my friend with a v6 camero. keeps up with that thing already.

G13BB doesn't have EGR, at least my 98 and 01 didn't.

cali emmisions had egr. little tube running from exhaust to egr port. also the exhaust manifold has a cat built into it and is made of steel. had to swap ecus to have it not pop a code
